As a Designer for the Financial Modeling Professionals course, I played a crucial role in producing over 9 hours of engaging video content designed to enhance learners’ understanding of financial modeling concepts. My contributions ensured that the course provided a comprehensive and effective learning experience.
The CFA Institute aimed to develop a comprehensive eLearning Certificate course in Financial Modeling to meet the growing demand for online education in finance and data analytics. The project required a substantial amount of high-quality video content to effectively convey complex concepts.
As a Video Editor & Designer, my responsibility was to edit and produce over 9 hours of instructional video content that would serve as a key learning solution for the course. The goal was to create engaging, clear, and visually appealing videos that enhanced the overall learning experience. Then I needed to seamlessly integrate this in the learning system with transcripts, charts, and other ADA accessible accessories.
I collaborated with course instructors like Ian Schnoor, CFA, CFM to understand the learning objectives and key concepts that needed to be communicated. I meticulously edited each video segment, ensuring clarity, pacing, and coherence while incorporating relevant visuals and graphics to reinforce learning. My focus was on creating a polished final product that would resonate with learners and support their understanding of Financial Modeling in the investment context.
The Financial Modeling eLearning course successfully launched, providing a valuable educational resource for finance professionals. My contributions to producing over 9 hours of video content helped facilitate a comprehensive learning experience, enabling learners to gain practical skills in financial modeling relevant to investment.
